Galveston's 61st Street Fishing Pier: Employee Spotlight: Jet Jet comes to Galveston by way of Midland, Texas and is a new employee at Galveston's 61st Street Fishing Pier. He enjoys working over the water and the family atmosphere of the pier. Jet likes working with his hands and one day wants to own his own land and build a self sufficient homestead. He would like to sell produce and other goods produced from this land. He is passionate about human rights and equality for all. Keeping with his desire to work with his hands, he enjoys origami as a hobby, and loves listening to music. He would love to go north to see the Aurora Borealis one day. One of Jet's favorite childhood memories is playing in the rare snowfall in Midland. He may not get to do that here in Galveston, but his love for the outdoors has endless possibilities.
